Pickup sessions differ in the courts, the shuttles, and whether anyone looks after the people who just walked in. Here's how we run ours.
Central Taipei, by the MRT
Our courts sit in central Taipei around the Gongguan area, so you can come straight from work on the MRT instead of hunting for parking. The halls are air-conditioned — small things, but they decide whether you'll want to come back every week.
Beginner-friendly, NT$100 for your first time
Beginner-friendly isn't just a word here: we pair you up and keep the rotation balanced, so you're never left standing around all night. First-timers pay a NT$100 trial fee, limited spots — message us for your personal sign-up link and the discount is applied automatically.

Yonex AS-20 shuttles
Tournament-grade shuttles at around NT$1,400 a tube — stable flight, and they last. When one goes off, we swap it. Playing on a dead shuttle throws every drop off target and drags the whole night down.
Play, then eat — and there's a ride
Plenty of nights end with the whole group heading out for food together. If you need a lift, we meet in the Eastern District 30 minutes before start time and drive over together — seats are limited, so message us to claim one.
Bring a friend — it's more fun in pairs 🏸
Coming alone is completely fine, but bringing a friend is even better — someone to chat with between games, and you'll both play a lot more freely. Want to book a whole session for your group? Just message us.
FAQ
Can I join on my own? Is it awkward without a partner?
Yes — most people show up alone. That's the whole point of a pickup session: we put solo players together and rotate doubles on court, so you'll always have someone to play with.
Are beginners welcome?
Absolutely. Sessions are about rallies and having fun, not competition. If it's your first time, a quick look at grip, serve and footwork will help you settle into the rotation.
Badminton for beginnersWhat should I bring? Do I need to bring shuttles?
A racket, clean indoor court shoes (no outdoor soles on the court), a change of clothes and water. We provide the shuttles.
What does the fee cover?
The fee covers the court and the shuttles used that night. The exact amount for each session is shown on that session's sign-up page.
How do I sign up? Does it count before I pay?
Tap “Sign Up” on the session you want, enter a nickname and pay online. Your nickname appears on that session's list once payment goes through — only then is your spot reserved.
Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Fees are non-refundable once paid; the full terms are on the sign-up page and you'll confirm them before paying. If something comes up, please message us as early as you can.
